You can visit the school at 1780 Glasgow Street in Kitchener. That is close to Ira Needles Blvd. and Highland Road

So, what do I need to know?
What is Disc Golf?
It’s like regular golf but without all the frustration. Instead of trying to hit a little ball into a little hole, you throw a frisbee and try to get it into a basket in as few throws as possible. If you can throw a frisbee, you can play. If you can’t throw a frisbee, you can still play. No experience necessary. Recommended age: 8 - 80
How do I participate in the event?
You can enter as an individual for $25
Join with a friend. Same price but more fun $25 each
Gather some friends or family and join as a team of five players and save. Team entry is $100
Do I need any equipment?
The simple answer - No. Your entry fee to the tournament covers the cost of a disc rental set. You will be going for a nice walk through Chicopee so I would suggest a comfortable pair of running shoes or other appropriate footwear. High heels not recommended.
This is a Disc Golf basket. Hit the chains with the disc and it should fall into the basket. That’s the goal of the game.
These are Discs. Although they look like frisbees they are quite different. They come in different weights and styles.

If I’m not in the tournament can I still come?
Absolutely! Even if you are not in the tournament, there will still be lots to do here. You can learn how to play Disc Golf, take some throws and test your skills. There will also be food, and lots of other fun and prize giveaways.
How do I win the iPad
Ah, the question everyone wants to know. Well, you don’t have to be in the tournament to win the iPad. Just come to Chicopee on the day of the event and get a ballot. It’s free. Anyone can win. The draw for the iPad will take place at 5:00 on June 5th.
